Creator Guidelines

How to run a Fessbox inbox that's safe, authentic, and worth coming back to.

01

Core principles

Every Fessbox creator agrees to these when they open their inbox.

Respect your audience

Your senders trust you with their questions and confessions. Treat every message with care, even ones you choose not to share.

Keep your space safe

You set the tone. Use moderation tools, keyword filters, and blocking to maintain an environment that feels good for everyone.

Don't amplify harm

Choosing not to reply or share a message is a valid moderation decision. You are never obligated to engage with content that makes you uncomfortable.

Be authentic

Your audience follows you for your voice. AI drafts are a starting point — edit them, make them yours, and be honest when things are AI-assisted.

Mind your audience age

FessBox is for creators 18 and over. Ensure content you share publicly is appropriate for the audience that follows you.

Protect anonymity

Never try to reveal, guess, or publicly speculate about who sent an anonymous message. That trust is foundational to how Fessbox works.

Do's and don'ts

Practical guidance for day-to-day inbox management.

Do

  • Moderate your inbox regularly — keep the content you share reflective of your community.
  • Use keyword filters to proactively block unwanted topics before they reach you.
  • Report messages that violate our policies using the in-app tools.
  • Be transparent with your audience about what types of questions you want to receive.
  • Review AI-generated reply drafts before posting — always add your own voice.
  • Keep your public reply cards appropriate for your full audience.

Don't

  • Do not attempt to identify or reveal anonymous senders.
  • Do not use Fessbox to solicit personal or financial information from senders.
  • Do not share reply cards containing private information disclosed in messages.
  • Do not use AI features to profile, target, or harass message senders.
  • Do not run fake engagement campaigns or submit messages to your own inbox.
  • Do not use your Fessbox page to promote illegal activities or harmful content.
03

Content standards

These apply to messages you receive and to content you share publicly from Fessbox.

Always removed
  • Sexual content involving minors
  • Threats of real-world violence
  • Content designed to facilitate harm to others
  • Doxxing or personal information shared without consent
May be restricted
  • Graphic or disturbing content shared without appropriate context

Serious violations, such as content involving the exploitation of minors or real threats of harm, may be reported to law enforcement.
